This falls under “Are you kidding Me”. This weekend during a LPGA event pro golfer, Juli Inkster, Hall of Famer no doubt. While in the middle of a 30 some odd minute break, wanted to keep loose. She simply picked up a club slid the swing weight on and began just practice swinging her club. No one there thought twice about it and the game went on. Now here is where is turns sorely sour for her. Here was some jackass sitting at home on a Saturday afternoon watching women’s golf. Okay yes it is a sport but come on, not even the men’s tour can be handled most of the time by any one but avid golfers. Well they see what she did, apparently freaked out, birthed a cow, and after climbing back down from the wall, picked up the phone and call the LPGA’s office to inform them of this. They looked into it and yes she committed an infraction and disqualified her. Only being three strokes behind the leader at that.
Seriously who in their right mind would do this? Better yet who just has the LPGA’s number lying around? Exactly how much alcohol must one consume to care enough to call in the first place? From what I have been told, this wouldn’t be the first time this has happened, in golf that is. With the ruling and sub sequential disqualification of the golfer. I think a heavy precedence could have been made.
Now think about how long a Basketball game could take if every non-called, walking, palming etc was called in by viewers. Hell they may still be playing the first game of last year.
Football now has a system, flawed as it may be, in place with instant replay. With limits on use and by who can call for the system to be activated. But once a decision has been made, you are stuck with it. No late night checking of the tapes, taken away of points or victories. Couldn’t even begin to think of how many times a holding penalty in the course of a game happens. Now think if someone were to call the Commissioners office and report them each one of them , how long a game would take. Well hell lets be honest, no one would answer the phone and if by chance they did, they surely wouldn’t go back review it and change the out come of a game because of it.
So just watch your damn sports what ever they may be, yell scream and make excuses for the loss amongst yourselves and put the damn phones down!!!

Milestone
Recently I reached a milestone around here. 25 years on the job in the Big Easy, whew would have never dreamed I would be here that long but here I am. This started out as something cool to do, and well stayed that way. Just a young kid looking for a change, knew people in the medical field, my sister, if you haven’t meet her you haven’t meet one of the greatest people in the world ( as is all my family), and a dear departed friend Sue both worked at the now defunct Mercy Hospital, where after the late shift at Roy Rogers I would bring left over food for the ER. I meet a few medics there who talked me into trying this thing out. So I did, went through class, many pestering late hours of drinking and studying at Sue’s, questioning everything I was looking at. Test time came and passed on the first try, Big envelope in the mail, lol. So off to City Hall I went, by the time I reach the house again the phone was ringing and the next day I was at work. The coolest thing was the second day on the job I was on the field of the Dome working, should I say watching a preseason Saints game. Needless to say I was hooked from that point on.
Way too many notable things have happened in 25 years, to sit and tell stories about them here, besides JoJo I am not, RIP my friend. I am sure I will explain some over time here though. This job has allowed me to meet some great people, many from day one I’m still able and proudly call friends. Meet my Hero and my Heart here even. Of course there are those that hold such a higher place in my heart and will always play a role in my life, these are my Alliance family. Lived, loved, laughed and grieved with these friends. They hold all the credit to molding me into the person I am today, so it’s their fault!! It is also the Alliance fault that Booter was an incredible wonderful alcoholic dog, and singing in a shower with a bird just seems to be the thing to do!! I mean that!!!!
Seriously if it wasn’t for the people I meet and still love through this business, there is no way I could wake every day and show up to work. Thank you all for allowing me in your world.
………………………now hurry up the last 5 years so I can quit this job!! Lol.

Superbowl Champions!
Do I really need to say much else. After many years of so so seasons, with a few great season's mixed in. The New Orleans Saints have finally won the big game. The Who Dat Nation took over the world and caused many of head aches and discussions across the globe. We had a real nice run going then we came back down to earth on a Monday Night. This was just what we needed I believe to keep the true goal and fire burning. Buddy D, who is cursing and strutting around in a dress in heaven, singing who dat say.... across the pearly gates, with tears of joy I am sure. Since Brees and Peyton have come to town we have been building a strong core of players, adding a talent here and there, till we put the 2009 version of the Saints together. Now I am not one of those NewDats who will again boo if a repeat isnt done. But damn sure would love it. Mid season was going to start hanging all my old Saints stuff up on the wall, but superstitions said not to. Damn glad I don't play into those superstitions, lol. But By next season the old faded stuff will be hung some where in the house. Though my Harold built shadow box, with my Saints fishing lures has been up already!!Thank you Boys , Bless You Boys and Geaux Saints. May the Who Dat Nation Rule the World for many years!!!Welcome
It seems that everyone has one so I finally decide to put my own blog together. Now I have a lot to say, just rarely know how to say them but my rambles can be entertaining. This will be a place for me to speak my mind, say my view on things, agree or disagree your choice but that's when the fun will start. I am no Angel nor the Devil so don't go taking things to heart or as total reality here.So all is welcome to join in. Being the beginning of Football season, I may speak a lot about that, Who Dat has a problem with this , suck it up and enjoy a Two Dat.
